2 cups (8 ½ ounce) all-purpose flour

¼ cup buttermilk powder

1/4 cup malted milk powder

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 ½ teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon sea salt

¼ teaspoon baking soda

1 ½ cups water
-
2 large eggs
-
¼ cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon vanilla extract or paste

Whisk flour, buttermilk powder, malted milk powder, sugar, cornstarch, baking powder and salt, until combined, in a large bowl.

Whisk water, eggs, oil and vanilla, just until smooth, into the large bowl.

Allow batter to rest for 5-10 minutes to thicken.

Meanwhile, preheat waffle iron, on medium-high heat.

Add about ¾ cup batter to the lightly greased Belgian waffle maker and cook until lightly golden brown, 4 to 6 minutes.

Serve warm and with desired toppings.
